Hi, I am April Nunez (she/her). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist  I provide clients with a safe space for them to explore their inner landscape.

Do you have distress in your day to day life? I love working to identify what's going on and how its showing up, and then collaborating to create the coping skills and tools needed to solve the distress. I am super inspired to help you find the personal tools needed to help you manage the moment, and for you to be able to use the skills later down the road  with the next set of challenges that life tends to bring.  In this way, what I do is called Time Limited or Brief Solutions Therapy. Research shows that the majority of people see progress in 12-20 sessions.

Or, are you struggling to understand a relationship that may be difficult or abusive, or trying to heal from a relationship you know is abusive? I also offer extensive experience in helping clients long term to navigate domestic violence, narcissistic abuse and chronic PTSD from intergenerational trauma. If you need a partner in understanding and unraveling, in healing and thriving, I'm here for you.

My holistic approach integrates Mind-BodyTherapy, Yoga Therapy, Somatic and Embodied Mindfulness practices. The events we experience impact us in a holistic way - physically, cognitively, spiritually and emotionally. Integrated Body/Mind approaches to therapy offer us a holistic way to heal.

I believe we all have abilities to transform, heal and move towards a greater level of wellness in our lives. Each person is unique with their own challenges and experiences that may later manifest as roadblocks that can impact their capacity to be fully present in life. These can hold us back from achieving our full potential.
