Do you identify as a BIPOC woman who is feeling depleted from dealing with

the effects of systemic racism or ongoing micro-aggressions, and it’s been affecting how you feel about yourself? Have you recently lost a

loved one to suicide or homicide and feel alone in your pain?

About Hanna

I’m so glad you are here. It takes courage to reach out to someone new when
you are feeling your most vulnerable. My role is to provide a non-judgmental
space to safely process trauma, make sense of complex feelings, and help
you learn skills to manage overwhelming emotions while re-connecting you to
your authentic self.

While I utilize a variety of approaches to suit differing client needs, I draw
primarily from Internal Family Systems. IFS allows us to identify the patterns
that keep us stuck while being aware that we’re made of different parts. When
our parts are in balance, we’re able to lead more from Self which can increase
self-compassion, curiosity, calm, and courage.

I am a registered LPC intern with the state of Oregon. I graduated from
Portland State University’s Marriage, Couples, Family Counseling program in
June 2021 and hold a M.S. in Counseling Education. I have 2 years of
experience providing counseling to individuals experiencing trauma, grief/loss,
anxiety, depression, healing from abusive relationships, ADHD, and mid-life
transitions.

My areas of interest include:

  • racial trauma,

  • cultural identity,

  • grief and loss related to suicide/
    homicide,

  • mid-life /millennial women’s issues,

  • BIPOC women with ADHD

Outside counseling you can find me
lifting weights, cooking, or hanging out
with my cats.
