In the early years of my 26-year career as an LCSW, I founded, developed, and operated a camp for grieving children. Since then I have worked with families, couples, and individuals of all ages to help them manage a variety of mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, grief, and self-esteem struggles. I also have expertise with and welcome the LBGTQ+ community.
I use a combination of therapeutic modalities, including strength-based therapy, client-centered therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). However, I have found that connection is the key to relationships in life, including the therapeutic relationship. I create partnerships with clients, as I believe that each of us has the answers we need inside ourselves. It is my job and my privilege to help you find yours.
I love what I do, whether I am working or not. I am fortunate to share my life with a spouse of 27 years and our family, which includes three kids and three dogs. I am always happiest with family and friends, especially at a baseball field. When I have to be inside, you’ll find me at a table working on a huge jigsaw puzzle. While I believe in looking for the silver lining, life is not always easy, and being a Reiki master helps me to find some of the balance we all need in our lives.

It means the damage no longer controls our lives."
