Hi, I'm Samantha (Sam) (she/her). It's so great to meet you! I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, and I'm so glad you're here. As a therapist, my heart is to come alongside my clients as we uncover what weighs you down — together. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a therapist and a client is a sacred place where you can find hope and healing. Having walked my own path, I know the work is hard, but the results are absolutely worth it.

I work with individuals (16 and up) and couples, offering a compassionate, collaborative space to explore patterns, communication, connection, and repair. With teens and young adults, I help navigate the challenges of identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm with curiosity and understanding — creating a space that’s authentic, judgment-free, and empowering.

In couples therapy, I help partners slow down, truly hear each other, and reconnect through empathy and curiosity. Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or deepening intimacy, I work with you both to uncover shared goals and create new ways of relating that feel safe and sustainable. I am affirming of all relationship structures, including monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous partnerships. I have completed Level 1 & 2 training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and I use this approach as a foundation in most of my relational work.

In my individual work, I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Grounding — to help you understand patterns, manage emotions, and build self-trust. I also work with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, helping you connect with the different parts of yourself — the ones that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones that long for peace — so that healing can happen from the inside out.

From the very first session, we start building rapport, discussing your goals, and exploring which approaches might be most helpful for you. This is your journey, not mine. I meet you where you are — you are the guide, and I’m here to support and walk alongside you. I love to laugh with my clients, use humor when it helps, and most importantly, celebrate your progress, wins, and growth.

I’m a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon and earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2024. My professional experience includes working with adults in community mental health and equine-assisted therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in the specialty coffee and tea industry and was a small business owner, where I learned firsthand the importance of balance, resilience, and authentic connection — lessons that deeply inform my therapeutic work today.

When I’m not in session, you can find me trail running, hiking, camping, hanging out with my senior Siamese cat Princess Bubblegum, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
