Hi, I’m Jessica Truong (She/Her), I’m a passionate advocate for mental health and social justice, dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. My journey into the counseling field has been deeply personal—driven by a belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, especially while navigating oppressive systems and challenging situations.

With a background in clinical rehabilitation counseling, I’ve worked in various mental health settings, supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether it’s helping adults navigate mental illness, providing trauma-informed care, or co-creating personalized treatment plans, my approach is always rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to equity.

I provide affirming, empowering care to adults in Oregon. We might be a good fit if you are Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, first-generation, have a disability, or are part of marginalized communities. I also enjoy helping people with career counseling and identity exploration while navigating life and understanding oneself.

My therapeutic approach integrates various modalities tailored to meet your unique needs like a toolbox. I believe that understanding the Self starts with our earliest relationships, that our minds and bodies are interconnected, that emotions serve as valuable messengers, and that we are individuals within larger systems.

As a clinician, I aim to provide a safe and compassionate space for you to increase awareness and understanding of self, unlearn old habits, beliefs, and ideas that no longer serve us, and through self-empowerment, you can bravely show up as your authentic yourself while navigating our world that has been deeply impacted by capitalism and colonization.
